That is what i keep hearing from people, are there some cars that are easier to drive than others? i hear honda civics are a good start.

Get something with mechanical linkage. Not easier per se, but better for learning how to feel the clutch. Something like an old Mustang.

Nope late bloomer i live in the nyc im 28, so there werent many reasons to have a license. I always loved cars my father owned a datsun 510 when i lived in the dominican republic and i have fond memories of him driving around with me.
